There is no future for twice.

I don't think they can achieve anything in west. They peaked in sk and it's all going down from here. Seems like contract renewal was wrong choice

they are selling millions, touring amazingly, doing great in Japan, they don't need your concern

it is kind of embarrassing that they're about to get lapped by the newer ggs. that "gg with the most total sales" that their fans love to hold onto is about to become obsolete when these 4th gen ggs outsell their totals in a couple years.

Nayeons solo did amazing in Korea (even better than roses) & even internationally. So even if group work doesn't do it anymore, they can start their solo carreers now

They still can make money by coming back 1 or 2 times a year and do tours. i think they will also have solo activities from now so it's still all good.

Unless they get to perform at the VMAs too

This was the times in their careers to finally pursue solo promotions but all those years forced together as a group by JYP must have really brainwashed them and they must have been scared thinking about their solo prospects. But why when the group one isn't much better? Even if they were that desperate to stay in a group the least they could have done was put their focus more on the solo side of things like Nayeon did. Literally, do they just plan to retire quietly after twice since none of them seem to be thinking about making a name for themselves outside of twice. What do they plan to do?

the group lost any form of success they had so staying in it while it flops every single time without any solo endeavours is a waste of time and they had the chance to change this

They will still make enough income for it to be worth it. Probably more than they'd make doing anything else right now. And this has probably been agreed to be a five year transitional phase, moving as many of them towards profitable solo careers as possible.
