MLD Ent will sue netizens for spreading illegal photos of Nancy

On January 15, Momoland's MLD Entertainment released an updated statement regarding the recently controversial incident, during which netizens spread illegally manipulated photos of Momoland's Nancyonline, causing the idol significant mental damage.

MLD Entertainment revealed, "We are currently working closely with the cyber crime department of the Gyeonggi Central District Police. We are in the process of pursuing legal action against the criminals who illegally filmed our artist, manipulated the photos, and spread the photos online."

The agency continued, "We plan on putting forth our complete efforts to protect our artists by cooperating with the police diligently, also constantly monitoring online portals to make sure that there are no more damages."

"Nancy should be the first person to be protected. We sincerely ask that everyone stops making malicious postings or spreading her photos and stop harming the artist further."

They continued to say, "Nancy is crying after finding out about the situation. We will quickly correct the issue and will take strict legal action."

Finally, MLD Entertainment asked fans to also report any malicious activity by collecting PDF evidence and forwarding them via email.

MLD finally doing something right for once

Apparently someone filmed her at the 2019 AAA in Vietnam where she was an MC. The AAA's commented:

"We will actively cooperate with Vietnam and the Korean law enforcement authorities on punishing the individual who filmed illegal photos and videos of Nancy along with the individuals who initially distributed the photos. We will cooperate with Nancy's agency to continue monitoring and cooperate with civil and criminal legal actions against the malicious postings related to her to prevent further damage. We apologize for this unpleasant event and apologize to Nancy's fans who have become concerned."
