Chaeryeongs new found popularity with knetz reminds me of rosé

Chaeryeongs recent viralness remind me of rosé during 2019-2020

i remember she was pitied by many (fans and non fans) for not getting a lot of attention compared to jennie and lisa/not having many cfs (even her dad showed his unhappiness about this)/being criticised the most for her looks compared to the other bp members/... back then, but that all changed in 2020.

Rosé is far from an it girl & Chaeryeong isn't anywhere near the level of rosé popularity wise, but their moment in the spotlights, knetz paying attention to them & it giving them the opportunity to establish themselves in their respective groups are similar.

I agree they both deserve it tbh esp chaeryong people were so nasty when itzy debuted her mom even had to ask people to now comment on her appearance

People don't stan others out of pity lol especially k-netz. If that were true then nugu groups would have bursts in popularity too

never said knetz pity stanned either of them though?

both got lucky & they got their moment in the spotlights. they finally got the chance to show knetz more of themselves & it seems that's all they needed...

if knetz pity stanned them, they would have had their popularity rise way sooner, but both took some years.
