if you don't understand I'll spell it for you: The album had 148 million first week streams overall in 2020, but only 58 million is from Asia (remind you SEA countries are in Asia) so what about other streams? still doubting their popularity in the world??

antis can say whatever they want but they have a big fanbase in Latin America, USA and some parts of Europe

Even back then I didn't get the shade, as if people in SEA areas didn't count as fully human beings like American (white?) people. The accusations always had a hint of lowkey racism to them that (western) ifans were always blind to.

Even if people say they aren’t popular in the US (+ rest of NA) they are extremely popular in Europe and South America!

Album with 2 huge US artists (Selena and Cardi) so it isn't weird that it had a lot of streams outside of Asia

It's always been about the value of the market, of course you only see it as an excuse to cry RaCiSm!!!!!! The American music industry makes up 60 percent of the revenue worldwide. That has always been the flex.

But both songs were mostly hated by the entire kpop world though? like people hated it, and yes names bring the clout but only in first day, at the first week its most people loving the album coming back to it.

There is no such thing as "Spotify Asia" because you can't see the total streams of songs countrywise (except filtered streams only if a song charted in that country's Spotify chart). So, how did they even came up with these exact numbers? It's like saying there's Spotify Europe or Spotify Antarctica.

Chart accounts stop making up charts & numbers challenge. Unless it was released by Spotify or Nielsen.

It's streams from all Asian countries that have Spotify streaming data available and yeah that's not every Asian country but it's all the bigger ones. Including the smaller ones wouldn't really change the results.
