It's on track to surpass girls in like a week and I wonder why? I thought Aespa were the gen leaders in SK according to MYs
I notice ever since savage Aespa's song rise quick but doesn't have much longevity, girls is losing ULs hourly now and definitely won't crack top 5 since it has most likely peaked in listeners.
Sneakers on the other hand is gaining hundreds of ULs every hour and is showing longevity and sings of a real hit.

Nah, thats purely opinion. Some like Girls, some like Sneakers, some like both or neither.
Honestly, I think Itzy's promotion has been far better than aespas this comeback cycle. Itzy are everywhere, they are staying chill, going viral, Chaeryeong in particular (but Yuna and Lia have had big moments as well), they are appearing on more variety shows etc. And while I like the aespa girls, and I mean them no ill will, the Itzy girls come across as more charismatic and charming, and that is PURELY SM's fault. I still get this vibe that SM holds the aespa girls back, controls their activity/personalities more and doesn't let them be themselves, like he wants to keep some air of mystery or something. Meanwhile, JYP is letting Chaeryeong get giggly drunk and letting the whole group be variety queens.
All this drives interest in the song.
Plus, and probably a matter of opinion, Sneakers is a more GP friendly song, for all its faults.

Less disjointed and less noisy
Like i said , sneaker might have cheesy chorus but it has potential to become a viral.
