    I. Introduction

    ARASHI (嵐, English: "Storm") is a Japanese boy group consisting of five members: Satoshi Ohno, Sho Sakurai, Masaki Aiba, Kazunari Ninomiya, and Jun Matsumoto.


    II. Career

    They formed on the 15th of September 1999 in Honolulu, Hawaii, United States. They signed to the Pony Canyon label in 1999, with ARASHI serving as their debut single which was released on the 3rd of November 1999. In 2001, they left Pony Canyon and joined the J Storm label in 2002.
