I. Introduction
Lee Deok-hwa (이덕화) is a South Korean actor. He is well known for his role as Kang Tae-moo's grandfather in the television series Business Proposal.
II. Career
He was born in Seoul, South Korea. He studied and graduated from studying film and theater at Dongguk University before he became an actor.
He has been an actor since 1972. Since then, he has received recognition for being on a bunch of television shows and movies. He won 20 awards and was nominated twice. His first award is the Popularity Award for the South Korean television series Love and Truth from Baeksang Arts Awards in 1985, and his most recent award being the Best Achievement Award for the South Korean television series The Red Sleeve from MBC Drama Awards in 2021.
Besides being an actor, he was in two radio programs: Lee Deok-hwa and Im Ye-jin's Reckless Radio (1978-1979) on TBC Radio and Women Salon (1982-1984) on KBS Radio 4.
In 1996, he wrote a book named 사람을 좋아하는 사람 이덕화 (English: Lee Deok-hwa, a person who likes people)
