Magenta is the second mini album by South Korean soloist Kang Daniel. It was released on August 3, 2020 by Konnect Entertainment and contains six tracks with "Who U Are" serving as the title track.
I. Background
On July 5, it was announced that Kang Daniel would be releasing a new album. Magenta is the second album in the Color Trilogy and represents the strong and powerful colors that mark the beginning and ending of summer.

Magenta has sold more than 337,000 copies since it's release. It peaked at number one on the Gaon Weekly Album chart and at number 94 on the Oricon Album chart.
Who U Are picked up three music show wins on The Show (August 11), Music Bank (August 14), and Show! Music Core (August 15).
