Jongup s a South Korean singer under Big Ocean ENM.
He was a member of the boy group B.A.P while under TS Entertainment.
II. Career
On February 17, 2019 TS Entertainment stated that the four remaining members of B.A.P, after the departure of Bang Yongguk in August 2018, and Zelo in December 2018 have all elected to not renew their contracts with the agency.
On November 21, 2019, it was announced that he had recently signed an exclusive contract with The Groove Company as a soloist.
On April 21, 2020, a teaser image was released revealing his first release under his new company. The single album ''Headache'' was released on May 7.

IV. Jongup Facts
- He was born in Seongnam, Gyeonggi, a satellite city of Seoul, South Korea.
- Family: Parents, two older brothers.
- Education: Hanlim Multi Art School, Sunae Middle School.
- Jongup became interested in dancing while he was in high school. Dancing was giving him comfort and he even started pursuing it by even going to tournaments. While being on stage he felt fascinated and opted to become a professional performer. He then auditioned for TS Entertainment where he was accepted and set to join their new boy group at the time.
- He was a trainee for one and a half years in total.
- He served as the main dancer and lead vocalist of B.A.P from January 26, 2012 to February 18, 2019, when his contract with TS Ent. expired and he decided not to renew it. All B.A.P members have hinted the possibility of future reunion under a different name and of course different agency.
- He can also rap; he has rapped in some of his solo songs such as ‘Now’ and ‘Try My Luck’.
- He really likes dancing, hip-hop, R&B and anime.

- He made his acting debut on April 27, 2019. He was casted in the encore play of ‘The Lost Village’ portraying the character of young Donghyuk.
