II. Career
I. 2017–2018: MYTEEN and MIXNINE
On July 26, 2017, Kook Heon debuted as a member of MYTEEN with their debut mini album ''MYTEEN Go!''.
In October 2017, Kook Heon participated in the JTBC reality show MIXNINE. Unfortunately, in the final episode, which aired on January 26, 2018, he was eliminated from the final lineup.
II. 2019–2021: Produce X 101, MYTEEN's disbandment, solo debut, and B.O.Y
In May 2019, Kook Heon participated in the Mnet survival show Produce X 101. He was unfortunately eliminated in episode 11 and finished in 21st place.
On August 21, fellow MYTEEN member Eun Su shared on his Instagram account that the group had disbanded, which was later confirmed by their agency.
On August 24, Kook Heon and Song Yu Vin released the digital single "Blurry" under the name Kim Kook Heon x Song Yu Vin. However, they then officially debuted as a duo on January 7, 2020 with their first mini album Phase One: You under the name B.O.Y.
On August 9, 2020, Kook Heon made his solo debut with his first digital single "Dry Flower''.
Unfortunately, on April 30, 2021, The Music Works Entertainment announced the disbandment of the duo B.O.Y.
On November 15, Kook Heon posted his first YouTube video on his channel, which was a cover of the song "Look At Me" by George.
