II. Background & Overview
PURPLE KISS released their first debut trailer with their lineup and name on July 20, 2020, with members of the group announced over the next two weeks. The group released this single and would release another one, "Can We Talk Again?" in February 2021. The group officially debuted on March 15, 2021.
Group members write lyrics and/or music on many of the group's songs. On this song, member Yuki co-wrote the lyrics. The song was re-released on the group's debut EP, Into Violet. Members also created the choreography for this song. Group member Swan does not appear on this song or its accompanying video as she was on a medical hiatus at the time of its release.
