II. Background
In June 2020, Lee Hyori made a joke about forming the ideal girl crush group with Jessi, Uhm Jung-hwa, and Hwa Sa of MAMAMOO on MBC variety show Hangout with Yoo. The singers liked the idea, and thus went with the project. Teasers for the group started droppgin in August 2020, and the single was finally released on October 10, 2020. An MV for the song was released on October 28.
