Kim Chaehyun


  • I. Introduction

    Kim Chaehyun is a member of project group Kep1er. She is under the company WAKEONE and participated in Mnet's survival show Girls Planet 999. As she placed first, she secured a spot in the group.


    II. Career

    Chaehyun started her idol path by becoming an SM Entertainment trainee during her second year of middle school. She trained for six years before leaving the company approximately between 2019 and 2020.


    The prologue trailer for Girls Planet 999 was dropped on July 7, 2021. It revealed that Chaehyun would be a part of the pool of competing trainees for the show. Her profile was dropped on July 17. The show premiered on August 6 and ran until October 22. She made to the final episode, where she placed 1st in the rankings. Thanks to this, she was allowed to join the project group Kep1er.
