Yang Hyun-suk founded the South Korean entertainment agency YG Entertainment Inc. (Korean: YG) in 1996. The company is a record label, talent agency, music production company, event management and concert production company, and music publishing house all rolled into one. Furthermore, the company operates a number of subsidiary ventures through a separate publicly traded company, YG Plus, including a clothing line, a golf management agency, and a cosmetics brand.
Artists managed by YG Entertainment include Big Bang, Blackpink, iKon, Winner, Treasure, Sechs Kies, AKMU, Eun Ji-won, G-Dragon, Taeyang, D-Lite, Yoon, Mino, Jinu, Bobby, Jennie, Bang Ye-dam, Lee Su-hyun, Rosé, Krunk, and Lisa.
