After getting attacked by a group of female assassins, Jeon Nok-Du (Jang Dong Yoon) chases after one of the assassins to the capital. During that time, Jeon Nok-Du helped Dong Dong-Ju (Kim So-Hyun) after she gets herself into trouble by trying to shoot the King with an arrow. Meanwhile, the assassin that Jeon Nok-Du chases goes into a widow village where the entry of men is prohibited. To find out who and why his family was attacked and if there's any hidden truth to his birth that he's not aware of, Jeon Nok-Du disguises himself as a woman and enters the widow village in search of the truth. There, he meets Dong Dong-Ju again who is an apprentice to become a gisaeng with a motive to get revenge for her family.
