II. Career
Demian started his music career at 22. Originally he did not want to become a singer, he wanted to go to law school or do something involving consulting. He also wanted to be a songwriter, not a singer, because his friends told him that they liked his songs, but not his voice.
Prior to debuting under Sony Music Entertainment Korea, he released songs and covers on Soundcloud: DEMIAN's stream. One of the songs on his Soundcloud, ‘Romaine’ was written before he signed with the company. It was written during his most difficult times and explains his thoughts during that time.
On March 11, 2020 he debuted with the single Cassette. On June 24, 2020, he made his first comeback with the single Karma. On August 25, 2020, he released the single Yes. On March 3, 2021, he released the single A Blue Not Blues.
