Seo In-guk New

  • I. Introduction:

Seo In Guk (서인국) is a South Korean singer and actor currently signed under Story J Company and AER MUSIC. He first gained widespread recognition after winning the inaugural season of M.net's Superstar K, debuting as a singer on October 27, 2009, with his first mini album, Bureunda.

On February 24, 2017, Jellyfish Entertainment announced Seo In Guk's scheduled military enlistment for March 28. However, due to an osteochondral lesion in his left ankle, he was discharged on March 31. Following this, he underwent a medical reevaluation at the Seoul Regional Military Manpower Administration on April 27 and an additional examination at the Central Physical Examination Center on June 5. On June 14, Jellyfish Entertainment issued a statement confirming that Seo In Guk had been diagnosed with osteochondritis dissecans in his left anklebone, resulting in a grade five health classification, exempting him from mandatory military service.
