For me, as an avid reality dating show watcher esp shows like Love Island UK (that’s not totally scripted and filmed 24 hrs over a few months) or Bachelor (which I believe is even more emotionally intensive since they’re fighting over one person), MJ really threw me off bc I’ve never seen anyone so emotionally volatile to cry over losing a game challenge after only one date and a handful of conversations. I get that GH was lovebombing and promising things prematurely (just being scummy) but that’s not anything new with dating in general (I’m 22 and the dating climate for my generation has been where people are great lovebombers but they are ultimately noncommittal) which someone as gorgeous & flirtatious as MJ should be used to. Also, the fact that she’s in COLLEGE which is like the most noncommittal age group ever, she’s bound to have friends who tell her about the horrible dating scene.
