XG is amazing but I think people get tripped up on if they are kpop or not, (which is a bit weird to me cause does it really matter?) I think they are slowly building a dedicated fanbase ‘in silence’ and that’s a good thing IMO because gaining the attention of kpop stans too early in a group’s career is usually a bad thing because of all the hate it generates.
In short, regardless of whether they pop off or not this comeback, they’ll be fine. I imagine they’ll be competing in the same space as Katseye eventually.
