A few times, I’ve said something critical in a k-pop thread or a comment section. Each time, I got challenging responses. They weren’t disagreeing with my comment, though, they were challenging that I had said something negative. For example, there was an outfit that I thought was unflattering on one performer. Someone responded saying didn’t I think the stylist was a professional doing their job well? and a few other remarks indicating it wasn’t my place to say so. In other places, I’ve been asked if I’m an anti. No, I’m a big fan of a few groups and I also have my own opinions about details sometimes. I felt like I was getting criticized for doing the wrong thing. I guessed it’s a cultural difference. Out of respect, I have removed comments and I don’t post anything but adoration. Recently , a group I like had a comeback and I don’t like the music of the album. They made a big change. I haven’t said a word about it anywhere which for me is mostly youtube, and weverse Can we express a variety of opinions? Is it just not done in k-pop?
