i would say super junior is still more popular.
in korea, super junior nowadays struggles to make their songs chart on korean music sites. but you know, they always break their records and chart on non-korean music charts such as taiwan's kkbox and latin billboard charts. since 2017, they dominate taiwan's kkbox korean album chart. they are also pretty strong when it comes to physical sales. according to the gaon chart, they're the only 2nd gen kpop group that hit 500,000 albums sold this year with their album the renaissance. i know the korean gp doesnt really look at suju as idols since they also dominate the korean entertainment industry such as in variety shows and award shows.
