Obviously not, the music is secondary and irrelevant, it's about the fantasy being sold, otherwise why would certain types of people gravitate to kpop I always see a type looking for that bought relationship.
It's why kpop fans can never discuss music in the way actual artists fanbase do with criticism, without someone being threatened of doxxing.
Without fansigns, fanservice, fansites talking pictures to fangirl over, saying you're not dating, Vlives, saying you're your fans boyfriend or girlfriend and never calling out fans in the wrong, being albums for pc solely- all based on fulfilling a fantasy closer kpop would seize to exist.

I didn't hate it, but now I don't like it anymore and skip it when I hear it, the autotone is too much in this album unnecessarily
It's better than Dynamite and black Swan though atleast

I agree, Answer by Ateez came out in January and it still feels super new, I still love the calm but impactfulness of it which I don't see alot in kpop anymore.
Definitely a song where the melody and vocals was important over the beat, not that there's anything wrong with a beat being centre importance, but I miss those
