calling TXT or any other group from a big label "nepotism" is like calling a Harvard grad who gets into a top law firm "nepotism".

if you get into a big label, or into an Ivy League, you've avoided elimination in the selection process, thus deserve to be there.

if that name, or the brand name of the university on your degree, gets you better jobs, better opportunities, without working as hard, is that nepotism? No, dummies, because you did the hard work, you just did it earlier - to get into an institution with a low acceptance rate than most.

there were too many cuts in the video for me to keep up with and it felt too fast paced for me to appreciate any set. ik there's "theory" behind it, but to my normie eyes, I just dc and couldn't appreciate the mv. I just listen to the song on spotify now instead of watching the mv on youtube (which is a contrast to D×4 era and HYLT when I actually enjoyed, preferred, listening to the song with the video whenever I was feeling in the mood, cause I felt it enhanced it)

    imo:

    English skills

Personality (some amount of life spent in a foreign country helps to also engender you to non-Korean humour or culture too)

    Good songs

A large budget for music videos (since they're more important in the West than the East, see Doja Cat's Kiss Me More)

A creative director that is well versed with Western music video concepts as well as Korean, and thus can blend the two better (I miss watching music videos that are like mini stories or movies like Taylor Swift's Blank Space or Doja's KMM, kpop is just close up shots of their faces and then dancing, but if you can find the balance between both ur gtg)

That would be the perfect group for me ^ and I don't think I've seen it, but some groups tick some of the boxes, and they happen to be popular internationally! (ie Blackpink).
