There is also another thing to take in account regarding streaming (even though it is growing) it’s still not as big as physicals in Japan. Physicals is 75%-80% still bigger than digitals. Physicals and touring is a huge indication for popularity even for Japanese acts themselves. BP is very popular, no doubt, but I think Seventeen might be bigger than them. They are also known to the GP.

Streaming is big in japan and growing very quickly, physicals are at an all time low and decreasing. They hardly reflect what's popular nowadays. BP can also do dome tours in japan

Yes streaming is growing, but physicals are still big as ever. There is no questioning here, stats will tell you what is bigger. From what I seen it’s still physicals >> digitals. Even Jpn acts rely on physicals and touring in their own home country.
