Vague Anime Memory

I vaguely remember some anime where there’s this girl who is like good at fighting with a baseball bat? I think. And her mom or maybe parents are stubborn about it and then she ends up saving them during an attack of some sort? I know it’s not a lot to go on and I’m not sure if I have the details even right either..
