Interesting case, I think this rather shows how severe bullying is in SK, and why famous people being involved in bullying cases are treated by Koreans while international fans cry about how he/she didn't do it or if he/she did it wasn't a big deal

Its a shame that the saying "More people under the bell curve" holds true. The more people there are, the more outliers there are.

Your post gave me the impression that the bullying were instigated by older males.

Are there any more reports about this case? Did those girls get punished? What about the distribution of child pornography? Did no one get punished for that at all?

South Korea or any country isn’t better. They just hide it better by ignoring it. Some of the worst torture and abuse happened in these “safe” countries and what makes it worse is that the perpetrators are more likely to get away with it because the society wants to ignore and bury these incidents. SK still has a lot of horrible abuse of the disabled and their suffering is ignored by the government and most of the public.
