いきものがかり (Ikimonogakari) is a Japanese pop-rock band that consists of members Yoshioka Kiyoe, Mizuno Yoshiki & Yamashita Hotaka (who left the band after 22 years). They have been active since 1999 and their fan club is called 'Ikimonogakari Fan Class 1-2' which correlates to the band's name which is a reference to elementary school kids who are responsible for looking after plants and animals.
It's a cute meaning, right?
They were really big in the early to late 2000s. Maybe you have already heard a few songs by them, namely 'Blue Bird' and 'Hotaru No Hikari' which were used as Naruto Shippuden opening songs or 'Netsujo No Spectrum' which became the first opening of Seven Deadly Sins!
So yeah anyways they are one of my fav J-bands, i just love them to bits! Their songs are heavenly and Kiyoe's voice is healing
