What happens first? NewJeans leaving the Melon top 100 or NewJeans renewing their contracts?

Context: NewJeans has spent their entire career in the Melon top 10, and of the current top 20 songs, 8 of them are NJ songs. 2 of them are over a year old. 1 of those year+ old songs is back in the top 10 (Hype Boy of course).

I'm starting to think their Melon 100 uptime will exceed their contract lengths

These monster rookies keep finding new ways to break the K-Pop algorithm and rewrite the record books.

That was a FULL YEAR AND CHANGE after NewJeans debuted, and they'd always had a song in the top 10 since their debut.

What I'm saying is that they won't be renewing their contract, so the Melon Top 100 answer still applies. It'd be such a flex for a group to cease to exist, yet their songs are still charting xD
