Jennie’s Korean career is based on hype, unlike IU or GDragon

  • I absolutely support Jennie in doing whatever she wants to do regardless of what people say. But I’m realistic. Jennie’s popularity is based on image for the most part. She’s not a song writer, she’s not an S level singer or rapper. She’s a good performer and can look the part of her image. But if that image goes astray then the hype deflates.

I don’t think she will flop because international companies will want her but in Korea she won’t be one of those legendary celebrities.
