I feel like he is fcking the group over as well, because he was the most known member. I'm not sure if he's a bad person but there could be other members who are interested in producing music too but they stay in the group because they see idol as the path to becoming a musician that can stand on their own. I am sure he discussed with the members before he left though...

He never wanted to be in a bg and isn't fit for a group. You are allowed to turn in your resignation in a job that doesn't fit you. They wasted his talents on that group. Kpop stans are so weird.
