Why is Loona so irrelevant in real life but so relevant on Twitter?

They always get viral tweets and win all polls yet no one shows up when it’s time to stream/buy the music. Why?

Twitter is probably the worst platform to gauge actual popularity. So many groups got massive engagement, even more than groups like bp and then flop everywhere

Twitter is full of crazies and bots. I don't think using someone's popularity in Twitter means much in real life.

Their fans are more dedicated to spend time hyping them up on twitter rather than listening to their songs.

It's not just Loona. It happens to most Kpop groups. You think they're popular cause of their inflated stats & fans spamming #'s but it doesn't reflect their popularity online in real life.

It’s cuz of bots. One of the reasons why Elon didn’t want to buy twitter anymore (though I don’t think he ever did)
