I'll say it here since people on main get offended at every small thing and will probably call me a Russia supporter or something just as ridiculous.
So the issue is bambam posted old pics from different countries he's been to on ig. One of these pics was him in Russia. Ukrainian fans/people took offense to this and a lot of them attacked him and accused him of being pro-russia.
He took down the post and tweeted this. Comments and quote retweets are filled with people posting triggering pictures to make him feel guilty or something. I'm not sure, it just seems unhinged to me.
I came here to rant because this is so uncalled for. It was a pic in a sea of pics from other places he's been and you wouldn't know where the pics were taken unless you investigated and found out yourself from the background. There was no tagging of countries and there was no promotion of Russia in any way.
Are people not allowed to post their pictures from problematic countries? Especially from a time when they weren't problematic? So all our faves should be harassed for posting pics from the USA now right?
I know Ukrainians are going through a lot but this is seriously uncalled for. People keep saying it's not our place whether to be offended or not but where does this end? This reaction is ridiculous and no one can convince me otherwise.
When you point out the fact that no one attacks celebrities for posting usa pics despite what the country has done and is doing, you get stuff like this
