I may view this on a more negative standpoint, but it looks like that they will getting more hate/danger rather than your usual resident idols.
Like they will get bashed no matter what they do.
If they lack the skill, or even if they only makes a mistake in their performance, there will be people that saying "They only become an idols because of their privilege" and such.
If they are really had a good skill, there will be people saying "Oh they could do this because they had the privilege to learn that"
or people could just bashing them about their looks simply because they are royals.
Even their group's success would be associated by their royal background. Like if they could sell 1 million, or had a high streaming numbers. Their haters would discredited that by saying their royal background helps (like sajaegi or such).
also maybe this may rarely come, but in addition of the danger of extreme antis/akgae behaviour they had another risks. Since they are a royal line, they are not your usual idols whom just a normal residents in their real life.
These idols are a royal heir, which makes them possess more risk in being hurted by people that.. idk having a grudge on royal family or just simply want to remove their political competitor?
I think it would gives more harms than the benefits. So.... yeah.
Specifically what, if any, thoughts do you have of them now
and (the juicy part)
What if a member or members of the royal family were to be made from a royally sanctioned (authorized) enterprise? (if it were to be a pet project of a royal or even a joint venture between royals)
--------AKA what if there's an actually royal blooded kpop group or smth.
