    I. Introduction

Siyeon is the main vocalist and guitarist of the South Korean girl group QWER.

    II. Biography

Siyeon was born on May 16th, 2000, in South Korea, as Lee Siyeon (이시연). She has an older brother who was born in 1987. Her nickname is Siyomin.

    III. Career

Siyeon was a member of a dance team named Napul Naful that performed busking on the streets of Hongdae, South Korea from 2018 until 2019. She initially auditioned for NMB48 in 2020 but was denied access to enter Japan due to the travel restriction caused by the pandemic at the time. Siyeon joined the J-Pop idol group NMB48 Team M in the month of August 2021. She graduated from NMB48 on the 8th of August of 2023. When asked to join QWER, she thought it was a joke (possibly due to the QWERTY keyboard), but she decided to join nevertheless. She is the fourth and final member to be added to QWER.
