    Dami was introduced as one of the new Hey Girls members, together with Jein and Sara on June 30, 2020, a day after the departures of Jandi and Siyeon.

    On December 16, after the introduction of a new HeyGirls member: Chaerin, it was announced that Dami, will be going on hiatus for unspecified reasons and won't be taking part in the groups upcoming release ''I Cook''.
