I. 2017-2018: MIXNINE
In October 2017, Line, then known by her birth name Kim Youngeun, was introduced as a trainee under Brave Entertainment on the survival show MIXNINE. She was eliminated in the first episode.
It is believed that she had left Brave Entertainment sometime during 2018.
II. 2019-present: G.I.G
In 2019 she had joined CUP Entertainment and was set to debut in their new girl group G.I.G, however due to the departures of several pre-debut members, the debut had been postponed and the date is unknown.
On March 22, 2021, she was officially revealed as the third member of G.I.G.
