II. Career
I. 2019: DPOP Friends, MIDNIGHT, and Daydream
On May 21, 2019, UPVOTE Entertainment introduced her as a member of DPOP Friends under the stage name Chaewon, through a medley dance cover of Produce 48 songs. The group seems to have disbanded since, and she left UPVOTE Entertainment.
On June 10, MIDNIGHT ntroduced Chaewon as their fifth and final member. The group then recorded their third pre-debut single "Algorithm''.
After the release of the single, rumors began to emerge that she had left the group, and these were confirmed on September 17, when MIDNIGHT was introduced as a five member girl group.
On December 3, she was revealed as a member of Daydream under the stage name Chae Ha.
II. 2020–present: Debut and departure from Daydream, CHIC&IDLE debut
On February 23, 2020, Chae Ha made her debut with Daydream. Right after the promotions for their debut song "Numnum" ended, however, she and two other Daydream members left the group due to conflict with the company.
Chae Ha then joined Liz Entertainment as a trainee under the new stage name Xindy. She first appeared in one of the company's trainee cover videos on June 3, before being introduced as a member of the project girl group CHIC&IDLE on June 30. The group made their debut on July 20, with a remake of Roo'Ra's 1996 song "3! 4!''
On July 19, Xindy shared on her Twitter that she was expecting to make a new debut in early 2021 under Liz Entertainment's upcoming girl group, ZeroSix.
On December 10, it was revealed that Xindy will be making her solo debut first, due to a delayed group debut.
