  • I. Introduction

    'THE SECOND STEP : CHAPTER ONE' is TREASURE's first mini album. It was released on February 15, 2022 with 'JIKJIN' serving as the title track.


    II. Background

    YG Entertainment announced back on January 1, 2022 that TREASURE would be making their comeback for the first time in over a year in 2022. They later released a teaser video that revealed that this comeback would be their first mini album called 'THE SECOND STEP : CHAPTER ONE', and that would come out on February 15.


    After the first teaser, they released various image and video teasers up until the full mini album and MV release for the title track 'JIKJIN' on February 15.

    'THE SECOND STEP : CHAPTER ONE' received over 167,000 physical sales on Hanteo on the first day of its' release. This surpasses their previous release 'THE FIRST STEP : CHAPTER ONE' which sold 120,000 copies on its' first day. These sales of 'THE SECOND STEP : CHAPTER ONE' also gave TREASURE the asccumulated 1 million sales for all of their albums on Hanteo. Additionally 'THE SECON STEP : CHAPTER ONE' reached #1 on the worldwide iTunes album chart and #2 on the European iTunes album chart. It also reached #1 in iTunes top album charts in 30 countries which includes Austrailia, Brazil, Chile, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, etc.
