    'Stay Alive' is an OST by Jungkook which is produced by SUGA for the '7FATES: CHAKHO' webtoon by Hybe. It was fully released on February 11, 2022.


    II. Background

    The announcement of the OST happened on January 5, 2022 revealing that this track would be sung by Jungkook and produced by SUGA.


    Jungkook's official solo Spotify account was launched the next day in preparation for the release. The influx of many fans following his account caused Spotify to crash, and Jungkook trended at #16 worldwide on Twitter after the launching.


    The release date of February 11 was revealed on January 17. The announcement trended worldwide on Twitter at #1.


    A teaser was released on January 30. The song was released to various music streaming platforms alongside a promotional video release on February 11.

    After release, 'Stay Alive' topped iTunes charts in 70+ countries in six hours. These countries include Japan, Argentina, Austrai, Brazil, Chile, Finland, France, Germany, Indonesia, malaysia, Peru, Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Switzerland, Thailand, Vietnam, and more. It reached #1 on the U.S. iTunes chart and it is the only OST alongside 'Sweet Night' by V to reach #1 on UK iTunes.


    Jungkook is also became the first and fastest Asian solo act to reach an all-kill on the top 8 biggest music markets (U.S., UK, Japan, France, Canada, Australia, Netherlands, and Germany) in around six hours.
