BRIGHT

  • I. Introduction


    BRIGHT was a Japanese pop dance and vocal, four member group under rhythm zone, sub-label of avex trax. They first debuted in 2007 under the indies label Rhythm REPUBLIC, but they moved to rhythm zone in 2008.


    II. Career

    The chorus group named Ko Spellers (子スペラーズ) was formed in 2001 with the members Nagi, Mi-Mi and Meg. These members of the group were childhood friends from elementary school. In 2003, they decided to expand the group into a 4-member group. Nanaka Kobayashi joined and the band changed its name to Bright.



    On April 25, 2007, the band debuted on Rhythm Republic, Avex Group's indie label. As their popularity grew, they were transferred to the major sub label Rhythm Zone. On January 16, 2008, the band released their first major label mini-album named Brightest Star.


    On April 17, 2013, it was announced on the group's blog that Bright would disband after their final One Man Live concert on May 12.
