I. Introduction
Phantom Siita (ファントムシータ / 怪忌蝶) is an idol girl group produced by the successful anonymous pop star named Ado. The group made their official debut on June 26, 2024 with the digital single "Otomodachi (Friend)".
The group was formed with five members who were selected from an audition held by Ado (not introduced as such at the time) with the backing of her agency, Cloud Nine, in November 2023. The concept of the audition was "retro horror" and the assigned song was "Tot Musica". Ado's audition was open for any female applicants between the ages of 12 and 20, and past singing or dancing experience was not required. Ado decided to keep the member's full names anonymous for the time being so they can have a sense of a normal life outside of their careers.
The concept of Phantom Siita is "retro horror idol" and they aim to create a new idol image while giving a sense of nostalgia and Japaneseness.
