I found this baffling too. For some of the couples, such as Raven and SK, I did believe there was a level of uncertainty about whether or not saying yes at the altar was the right thing to do. But for the couples who have struggled basically since laying eyes on each other, I don't understand how they have been pretending that marriage is a real feasible choice.
