Man, I have two boys, 8 and 10, so of course I’ve seen a lot of skibidi toilet. When it first became popular I was like “what the heck is this, this is ridiculous” and then kind of tuned out.
Fast forward a few months and my 8-year old is watching one of the later episodes and I’m standing there transfixed. It’s this crazy distopian war scene and I find it truly disturbing - not in a “this is garbage” way but in a “this is actually really well done and is honestly scaring me” way. I told him it might be a little too intense for him.
Long story short, I’m still not prepared to sit down and watch the whole series but I have come around to more of a “ok well there’s actually something interesting going on here” opinion.
