Yeah, they pretty much have a monopoly on mainstream Boy Groups, Avex has some groups with decent popularity though. I'm not really a big fan of Idol Groups in Japan tho, I feel like the girl groups at least some of them are very exploitative, not to mention the graduation system and how some of them are a pipeline to the porn industry which is very poorly regulated in Japan. Johnny's had that huge scandal as well etc.

I mainly just find it interesting; it would be like if we had a Kpop site where people only liked low quality low budget groups with weird concepts. I wonder why this phenomenon exists probably because up until recently a lot of more mainstream artists did not post MV on Youtube etc.

When it comes to BGs that sale the most albums currently groups like King & Prince, Sixtones, Snow Man, Naniwa Danshi etc for domestic groups. K-pop groups sale really well in the idol market as well etc.

Like nugu stuff that Japanese people would not have even heard of or really listen to. Tho Idols groups in general really target a subgroup of the population in Japan.

Mainstream in Japan would be people like Yuuri, Official HIGE DANdism, YOASOBI, Kenshi Yonezu etc

Aren't any of you all into Japanese idol groups that are actually popular in Japan and have budgets and decent music. I prefer soloists when it comes to Japan, but here are some male idol groups that are popular (Out of these I prefer K&P so they get more recs).

I honestly don't know what the best outcome is, aside from whatever one ends the war and stops all the killing. The world is a weird and interesting place, unified Communist Vietnam has a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership with the US.

I think it's going to be a really long war because both sides are entrenched now, but I think a war of attrition is slightly in Russia's favor, as Ukraine really does need Europe and the US to keep supporting it win. I don't know if there is the political will to do so in Washington and Brussels. Both the EU and the US are democratic in general and if the voters get tired of spending tax dollars in Ukraine and paying higher energy costs it could prove to be highly unpopular like Vietnam was.

Ukraine is over 500% larger than South Korea.

Russia failed to meet its objectives early in the invasion more from their own incompetence than anything. They made a ton of mistakes even with basic planning and coordinating ground and air forces etc. If they had not bungled things up it would a lot different.

Iraq lost the conventional war to the US in a month for example.

France had the most powerful military in the world before WW2 but it had bad leadership and was very poor at the tactical and operational level which is why it lost to Germany in the manner it did.

It would be much more useful for SK to have a professional volunteer elite military than a conscript army in my opinion.

Australia is actually a far more important ally for the US in the region as large portions of it are out of range of Chinese and North Korean misses etc.

Also, the capital of South Korea, Seoul is near the border with North Korea and within the range of conventional artillery and could be shelled by artillery barrages at any time.

Even more mid tier groups like Everglow, Fromis 9 and Kep1er are doing really well.

In the second gen, most girl groups fell off the face of the earth after they passed a certain age.

Bro stans a disbanded 2nd gen group, so he is always going to have rose tinted glasses for that era.

Girl groups have been more popular recently than in a long time. The charts used to all be ballad and trot songs except for a few of the really popular idol groups.

Outside of physicals, it is boy groups that have really fallen off the charts if we want to talk about anything it should be that not girl groups.

The concept of reincarnation seems kinda harmless till you realize that some people literally believe if you have some bad things in your life that you can't control (like crappy parents etc) that you deserve it because you must have been bad in your past life etc.

One of their early title tracks that I like. Their skills have definitely improved since when this song originally came out in 2011, I enjoyed the performance from the concert this year.
