They supply weapons to Israel while gutless anti-semetic racists boycott companies that provide millions of jobs to people that don't give a sh*t about Israel (or Palestine for that matter)

Actually that's not America's fault but if those protesters want to be taken seriously then stop picking on Idols that drink Starbucks Coffee while ignoring the actual issue

But none of the JYPE girl groups outside Twice are selling amazingly, so how going from selling mid to selling decently is a good thing?

JYPE has a lot to worry about because after all these years they still couldn't debut another girl group that could come close to twice's peak.

Besides, neither Twice nor Stray Kids will be around forever, and since they are responsible for a lot of company revenue, they would need to find "replacements" for them at some point, but no lucky so far.

    Ummmmm.....

Itzy have million certified albums, NMIXX sold has 3.6m total album sales to date

    Edit:

btw, TWICE's peak with their 9 number 1 Songs were selling less albums than NIMXX in the same space of time

    Is that a good thing?

I'm pretty sure if they were a competent company, they could get both, the albums sales and the chart performance.

    Yeah, it's a good thing.

The natural progression of Artists is that they will sell more Albums when their Title Song chart high but drop off as they fall from the Charts.

So if you have Artists that don't chart well but still sell a crap load of Albums then you don't need to worry about the Chart drop

The aim of any company is to get a number 1 song, that's just a normal thing so it's not unique to JYPE.

    However...

JYPE is the first Kpop company to have massive album sales from Girl Groups that don't chart well on the Song Charts, it's a position every Kpop Company wants.

It's definitive proof that JYPE has got the formula right at least for South Korea as they haven't proved it with VCha.

Skin Lightening is no different from Skin Bronzing as both seem to be "wrong" depending on the morons' opinion.

Weight loss for an Idol is fine if it's from a balanced diet and exercise regime as most Idols have very poor eating habits, that's easily spotted when they "starve" themselves. TWICE's Sana and JiHyo are good examples of healthy weight loss as they adjusted their eating habits and incorporated an exercise plan.

Body Shaming for Idols that don't match with the "Ideal Visual Weight" and it's as vague as that because it's a fan opinion, is largely due to the Idol Image as even Non-Idols in SK have that same scrutiny over them if they are in the Idol Age between Teens and Mid-20s.

I'm definitely in the 2016 bracket for YooA because I'm not a huge fan of Professional Marathon Runners' builds, it doesn't matter if they are healthy but most of them look like bone bags :P

Cheer Up released on April 25th 2016

Akaraka Performance Youtube upload May 21st 2016.

Basically a new song had that much impact

I literally said, the girls don't need autotune, because they can sing, and on Killing Voice they're proved it why I hate JYP and what they're doing with them for years now

JYPark would never allow his Artists to be autotuned as he is pendantic about them singing just a syllable, also you would never get to be a Trainee at JYPE if you couldn't sing in tune.

Of course there are songs that use autotune as an arrangement but it's not used to replace the vocals.

You do know that being an Idol is NOT just being a Singer/Musician right?

The qualifications to debut as an Idol is, Good Looks, Slim Body, being young, being a virgin, being able to do fanservice, being wholesome and being able to Sing or Rap if you can't sing in tune.

One of the common complaints by Non-Idols in South Korea is that less talented Idol Singers and Musicians are quickly popular due to their Visuals.

As the Nation's First Love, Suzy stands apart for reaching the highest accolade an "IT Girl" can achieve because it's an immortal title with only a handful of Korean Females been given it over decades it's been used.

Of course, Nation's Titles are granted to wholesome characters rather than to the personalities of the recipients, so Nation's First Love is based on a Character they acted as.

She's the only Korean Female with a Madam Tussaud's Wax Model

It's more detrimental for Idol groups to have members that don't meet the Idol standard for Visuals than it is for the Visual in a group to not stand out as most don't.

The Visual Role is a position that usually goes to the Actors/Actresses in the group, it's mainly important to companies that aren't making a lot of money from the group they are in as it's expensive for Comebacks but dirt cheap to pay someone to manage an Idol in a Visual Role.

For multi-million dollar earning groups, the Visual Role isn't as relevant, TWICE is the best example of this, JYPE never needing to push a member into Acting when they started earning big money. Initially Nayeon was studying Acting but pulled out of School after the success of Cheer Up and while Tzuyu had been pushed through advertising, the Flag scandal forced LG to remove her advertisments.

aespa, IVE, NJs and NMIXX don't need a Visual Role despite having them as the Visual Role will never earn as much as their groups do for their Companies, rather it's just bonus cash. Also the weakness of being the Visual is age, especially for females.
