I prefer the "Oh perfect sacrifice!" part more.

Nice song and the dance break is very cool too. Bop.

Most of the comments there are completely nonsensical. The reason why European countries are not showing on these lists is because they have much smaller populations than the top listed countries, for example Germany which is the most populous country in EU only has a population of ~80 million. Furthermore, streaming services like Spotify are more popular than Youtube when it comes to music in Europe.

I really liked that song back when it came out and I always wondered why the group was not more popular. It's probably my favourite Brave Girls song actually.
OT but another song that I really liked in early 2016 was this one and I believe the group has disbanded by now so they didn't do so well either.

I don't think anybody is expecting them to compete with bb as they are a senior of 15 years and I've debuted like less than 6 months ago
Yes, I worded that in a bad way. What I wanted to say is that the BB comeback might draw away some GP attention from IVE's comeback.

Blop for me, I like some parts of the song but then it just somehow feels generic especially in the chorus. MV and concept are great though. Hoping that they do well on Korean charts but I have my doubts about the longevity of this song.
-
I voted for blop because I think that both parts of the song would be decent on their own, but in combined form it just sounds confusing/annoying. Although, the baila song would require actually competent rappers and better lyrics to make it good. (I don't get how someone seriously came up with "whook whook" and "shoog shoog shoog" ...)

Doesn't this song also have that kind of weird shift at 2:50? And it's from 2005 or something.

I think most people don't take BTS into account when they talk about sales or charting in kpop. In second gen SNSD had the same sales as any boy group out there. For third gen BP has the same sales as any boy group that isn't BTS (I'm sure they can hit about 2-2.5 M sales if YG will actually give them another full album comeback). Kpop is one of the few industries that you can actually place female acts on the same level as male acts if your talking about leaders in the industry. Even Twice is selling where some top 3rd gen boy groups are selling. I think they sold 700k+ and the only boy groups that are beating that in 3rd gen are BTS, NCT, EXO, and Seventeen. The criteria in 3rd gen to be a top boy group is around 500k which twice definitely exceeded. Now it's 1 M for 4th gen.
You can't really place them on the same level because on average boygroups always have better physical sales and a higher number of hardcore fans, this is just the way it is because Kpop in general is more popular among females (who mainly stan boygroups).

Why is it even important who follows who? Isn't it supposed to be a nice thing? For all I care all idol group members could follow each other on ig.
-
There will be some fierce competition between 4th gen GGs at this rate.
-
Even if we assume they get a big global hit bigger than dynamite
But thing is they have to beat
Physicals
Streaming
Touring
To be number one
I'm pretty sure it will be literally impossible to beat physicals/touring since they are a girl group and the whole kpop fandom is heavily female dominated (who mostly prefer boygroups). For touring/streaming they would need some global viral hit that matches Gangnam Style or Despacito, which is again very unlikely but possible I guess.
Basically the gap in fandom size is probably too enormous to overcome.

Big Bang has a high chance of topping the charts and peaking with high ULs as long as the GP is interested in checking out their comeback after so many years. That also includes the people who have been following their scandals for the past few years and hate them now. When it comes to fanbase both BTS and even EXO completely eclipse them.

Agreed. And other exemption criteria are on par with the cultural merit seeing how they are all national-level accomplishments (olympic medals, world cup entry, 1st place awards in national competitions, etc). So idk why these companies are pitching for anything else.
Probably because it's already controversial that some people can be completely exempted in the first place.
-
It's only postponement so I think that BTS if any group deserves that. Since the military service in South Korea is mandatory I don't think that anyone should get an exemption aside from those with some seriously debilitating conditions. Winning Olympic medals or some other competitions should also not grant anyone exemptions, that is also unfair and idiotic.

You can become fluent too if you supplement your watching with some proper studies as well, if there are no Korean language courses available you can always purchase self-study books and work on them at your own pace. Duolingo and other similar apps are nice for some quick study sessions when you are commuting to work/school etc.
This also applies to pretty much all languages btw, and remember that it's always better to start studying new languages when you are young as it does become much more difficult for most people as they get older especially if they are monolingual.

This is how you can get some extra male fans/followers
