Pretty much your quintessential SNSD title track, many parts remind me of their older releases. Blop for me, I prefer Oh!GG Lil'touch to this.

It's better than the scuffed fan edits for sure with the added rap part, bridge and outro. For now it's somewhere between bop and blop for me but I need to listen to it a few more times. The M/V was better than I expected too.

Yep, I've seen some pictures of the procedures and they literally cut off big chunks of jawbone sometimes. Irreversible, unnecessary and painful.

I don't think it's healthy at all for either gender and the fact that pretty much everyone does it in the industry creates unrealistic expectations for others and causes a vicious cycle. If it was up to me I would ban plastic surgery from people under 20, the kids look good enough naturally and if you want to enhance their looks you can do that with makeup or whatever.

That is a viable theory for sure.
It could be as simple as a contrasting "fancy dress with casual sneakers" visual concept like Lia in the gifs above.
Or the contrast could extend all the way into the music, a edgy girl crush royal concept to start, then a colorpop sneakerfest interlude, then go back to the edgy girl crush.
Not this please. If one of the parts sounds terrible it just ruins the whole song. I much prefer two separate songs so I can choose to listen to the one I like and ignore the bad one.

Yep it's a Bop, reminicent of their early releases. Interesting styling for the MV too, feels like they were intentionally going against some gender stereotypes (BM's shirt, J.seph earrings and "Boys Can Cry" shirt, Jiwoo styling in some parts etc.) that are still strong in Korea. The MV also reminded me about their card suit theme too.

Simply because BTS are well known celebrities. No one keeps track of random kids from wealthy families who conveniently decide to study abroad when they get close to the maximum age for enlistment. On the other hand most Koreans know BTS and the media will keep the public updated about their enlistment status.

The majority of Korean males will probably always be against exemptions of any kind aside from medical reasons because they feel that it is unfair. I don't live in Korea but my country also has compulsory military service so I can understand the sentiment.
