the disrespect for BAM lol, if they pitched it a bit lower I would love it much more

Display MoreKarina has a lot but its well done, so great for her. Again, all idols have PS, even those who look mostly the same as the predebut pictures(which is something kpop fans use really loosely lmao) refine their looks.
Another idol who had a lot but got an amazing result is Sana, her surgeon is truly an artist because she looks incredibly beautiful now.
Now, since the purpose of this thread is finding people to roast you alive, I'll drop some controversial opinions:
Nayeon had a bad nose job post debut and she has wayyyyyy too much filler now and it makes her look way older. The nose job would be less noticeable if she didn't look so... "full" due to the excess of filler. She needs to get them dissolved...
Yeah, Nayeon's filler was a bit shocking to me with her solo debut. I immediately noticed how much plumper her face looked. Would she need a face lift to reduce the loose skin if she dissolves the filler?
Oh I got chills, love this
The handshake lmao. It's an alright mv though
It'd be nice if the song had more bite to it. 7/10
Also this scene lol:
if she went through proper safety measures and not deliver rotten product maybe
Stumbled onto this gem, bless the yt recommendation gods. It's CSR's debut too.
like the idols who are very clearly underweight but still manage to have facial fat because of fillers?
that is a part of it, but people can also gain fat differently. I'm talking more about the nonexistence of fine lines or loose skin
there was one male idol who looked noticeably different between two comebacks and everyone was praising him for his looks, saying that he never looked better. i was trying to figure out why he looked different, he lost weight but that definitely wasn't the reason. i genuinely believe people didn't even think of him having some work done because he looked natural, and still does
speaking of, it's not just "glow-ups" that get overlooked. If an idol manages to maintain their features through super unhealthy environments over many years it's likely they have gotten work done. Imo, it's practically impossible to not have negative effects show on your face and body with the amount of stress and effort put into their careers. If they look unchanged from debut until 10 years into their career it's a bit odd.
My point is even when it is "exposed" female idols will get more attention regardless, even when the female idol is an unknown.
Maybe it's bc women are expected to be beautiful from the womb and beauty treatments ruin the "natural" aspect. "Effortless" beauty is held at a higher regard than beauty that takes work.
However, all beauty takes work and intentional alterations and styling. No one is blessed with consistent beauty and styling by just existing. It takes a lot of observation and changes to your behavior so that you attain the style that you like.
i think it's more about if it's noticeable?
i won't name any names but there's one idol that is constantly dragged for plastic surgery and it's very noticeable they did it. and yet, there are idols who got a lot of work done and don't get dragged because they look natural.
i think it's more about that than genders
hmm, that's possible. However, being transparent regardless would help society overall. It's definitely interesting to see idols sprout double eyelids, new noses, and v-chins between comebacks with no remarks from the fandom.
I've gotten used to assuming that they've gotten something done if they make me feel something is strangely different about their face. It's better than trying too hard to find exactly what's different.
Ig there must be some hateful posts that we can't see. PS bashing isn't cool so that's nice the top voted are the ones supporting PS decisions.
Two good points that are missed:
1. Idols are marketed as natural or assumed natural until proven otherwise. It would help if there were more that are comfortable about their procedures so that it lessens the pressure on average people to attain unrealistic standards of beauty.
2. Additionally, just because there are popular procedures it doesn't mean those procedures would work with your face and features. Ideally you get recommendations for the fewest possible procedures to highlight your natural features. Each time you go through an operation it is inflicting trauma on your face, with negative consequences later.
I thought he is announcing his marriage or sth
imagine the same netizen response if he married a white person and those were his kids he was about to announce to the world. man that would be fucked up.
You jinxed it!
I like both experimental music and simple, often called "generic" music. Listening to each requires switching into a different listening mode, similarly to viewing different types of art through different lenses.
I agree, I listen to experimental music to hear what is interesting even if not too pleasing to my ears. Simple music is much easier to listen to generally and serves as great background music.
Then there are experimental songs that I can listen to more frequently which is rarer like Oh My Girl's Remember Me.
Usually, I don't like it if it sounds like multiple songs slapped together to be different.
Is this a slut shaming comment? WTF is the basis for this remark
I ask cause I wanna report you, but feel like I am missing context for your post
I think they're saying she's serving lots of attitude, not being a slut lol
Gay slang
The best of their releases so far imo
Just because some songs are about topics that are uncommon to pop music like mental health or global warming it doesn't mean those songs are "deep". A lot of the "deep" songs state nothing, obvious observations or even weirdly wrong things about those topics. Also, insightful messages can be disseminated well in pop songs, it takes more effort though.
