And NewJeans have only released 2 single albums last 12 months when nearly all others have released 2 EP or 1 EP + 1 full album

Supernatural sales are becoming really good.

After a slower start, Supernatural has already outsold How Sweet and shows no sign of slowing down

Current numbers (circle chart):

Supernatural: 1,201,451

How Sweet: 1,176,130

Supernatural could very well end with more than 1,4 millions sales by year end if it countinue like that

Looks like Supernova will stay at number 1 in SK at least 1 more month if this song is the most serious threat

Billboard japan include international sales (shipped from japan) and the sales number are quite different from Oricon so it's seems lots of non japanese people purchase those albums online. For oricon sales, the impact may be negligeable as those internatial sales shouldn't count

I'm quite confident that if supernatural was only releases in japan, the billboard japan number will be a lot higher (but still a lot less that the current circle chart number) as all SK that want the album would have to purchase it from japan.

Supernatural seems to perform in japan like a Korean release (High streaming in japan and low album sales) while japanese release tend to have very low streaming in japan and higher album sales.

I don't think Aespa sold 200k+ in oricon , i think it's billboard japan sales. Those sales includes album purchased by international fan and shipped from japan (oricon only count album shipped within japan).

For NJ i don't think the comparaison make much sense as Supernatural was released in the same way as their Korean release. It's quite normal that an album released everywhere will sold less in japan that albums only released in japan (if i'm correct about the release ).

We will soon know hybe intentions. NJ first full album is probably ready and promotion seems scheduled with Fortnite collaboration etc. If we have no news of the album release date in the following months, it'll mean that Hybe want to sabotage NJ (it'll be quite dumb as they'll lose lots of money by doing it).

With a full album ready and a world tour for 2025, it's not a bad timing to "fire" MHJ as new music release (after the album) will probably not be needed until end of 2025.

I hope we'll soon have some news for the NJ members as it must be a really hard period for them

NJ, IVE (G)I-DLE all had a CB in the same period but they didn't offer much competition since all their songs underperformed Only big song that Supernova had to fight with is How Sweet which is probably a top 5 (maybe even top 3) song of the year on melon/circle chart.

But Supernova is still probably the most successful song since I am/Ditto. I think it's a little bigger than Super Shy/Queencard in SK

How Sweet is already at 268k digital points in 13 weeks. If i'm correct, only Supernova did better this year in the same time period. How Sweet performance seems to be underwhelming because it was totally blocked by Supernova (by far the biggest song in SK this year) but it's one of the most successful song of the year in SK when you look at the numbers.

I suppose that circle charts take into account streams and not ULs? So even if a song is below another one in melon chart, it can still have more streams on melon and have a higher score in circle digital chart

Nice that they are doing some japan promotion this month The supernatural/ETA perfomance that aired yesterday with quite good and tomorrow we will have a new supernatural performance and each member will cover a song (if i'm correct).

His spotify numbers are weird for sure. Low monthly listerners compared to his songs streaming performance, very high spotify streams in lots of countries but very low position in all the spotify charts of the cities of those countries

Would make more sense for them to do How Sweet mass streaming

Supernatural > How Sweet > Bubble gum > Right now for me but i like all of them
