I was a month out how sad
-
EXO calmly released an album promoting and playing with each other amidst a major law suite they’ll be fine.
SNSD has no touring prospects and no scope to make money as a group with sales and fandom support to the extent EXO does. Makes sense for them to focus on solo. I’m sure exo members like their money which you can make a tonne of as an exo member esp with album drops and touring.
Yeah hopefully they get good deals and stuff with being member's of the group but not as solo.
And not lesser money due to the fact that didn't sign as solos with sm. Then they will be less likely to be active as a group.

The badges are a bit weird too... Anyway I'm not trying to complain or make work for you I just noticed I'm sure not many are using these themes anyway and since they are woltlab ones you didn't make it could just be more trouble than what it's worth to do the coding etc.

Majority of kpop fans are not from countries that have strict bipartisan views. There is nothing “left” about kpop. They’re apolitical if anything which would be considered very right by anyone who is truly left.
The majority of kpop fans who are from China, Japan and other parts of Asia certainly aren’t “left” in their support for kpop.
In the west certainly liking kpop is very leftist since liking anything that’s not predominantly dominated by white people would require you to be left indeed.
Ofc I should exclude the incels who support kpop girl groups for some specific reasons from this rhetoric. We all know they are right as right can get.
I guess I was meaning more international K-pop fans.
Like the west.

But how does being anti Israel solve the overall crisis in that region? It may solve Palestines but then creates crisis for the Israelis.
From the river to the sea Palestine will be free, isn't that calling for genocide and the removal of Israel?
I have seen the horrible things Israel is doing gunning down reporters, teenagers in the west bank their own damn hostages etc I'm not ignorant to that.
But I have also seen Hamas shooting hundreds of rockets into civilan populated areas attempting to kill civilians daily, and succeeding at the start in a very gruesome purposeful manner. They don't have the fire power but their intent is very clear.
I don't think being neutral means you don't care it just means that you don't side with either political affiliation. I wish all war would end but I'm not going to take a side. And I believe a lot of people are like that.
If idols openly come out and support Israel bombing Gaza then I can fully get cancelling them. But being neutral is no crime. No moral crime. But to each his own.

I'm insulted you didn't realise earlier
And noo adblock akp needs that ad revenue will just have to get allkill somehow.
-
F ad version of allkpop it won't even load the damn pages so I cant see anyone's replies

I honestly believe that even K-pop fans not from America are very left leaning. I think Hollywood the media etc are left leaning which influences K-pop fandoms.
But yeah not every country.. my country definitely though.
-
As icaro pointed out supporting Palestine isn’t a far left rhetoric in many places like it is in the US.
Yeah but that's one thing, expecting others to share on your boycotts is another.
-
you cant just remain neutral. its a genocide.
No you can remain neutral. Because it's political and also religious. One who does not follow either religions which both encourage war is something that many don't want to take a side with.
What you can do is feel for those innocent civilians who never asked to be a part of this I think that's humane. But taking the side of either army I think many wouldn't want to do.

u forgot we have male gg stans who can be pretty right leaning conservatives like drew b etc
And they often end up banned for being that way haha but yeah there is a minority of people like that on here.

Most kpop stans like to pretend they are know-it-alls on every subject: (geo)politics, feminism, Korean culture, charts, lyricism, etc. If the current talk of town is Korean lifestyle, they put on their all things Korean guru hat and talk as if they have lived their entire life in Korea and are Koreans themselves.
But I see this way, way more on stan twt than here tbh, since most people over there desperately want that hit tweet. I think most people here were able to see through the performative activism of many kpop stans on twitter regarding this specific subject.
Ive been on X more lately and the only K-pop I seen is blinks bringing up every bts shortcoming and vice versa
